Okay so I haven't posted anything in forever due to school, work, family, ect.......until now lol

This is my final semester project I did for art. It's an all graphite drawing with a little bit of watercolor (red). I worked 3 and a half days straight on this thing, and I'm really proud of how it turned out. Heck even my Mom and Dad are talking about it and saying how good it is! :) Hopefully my art teacher thinks the same lol. For all of you who watch me, this may be something different from what you're normally used to. Everything I've posted one here (well most of it) is just a doodle or something I just had to get down on paper. This is my true potential, and I might start posting more of my sophisticated works, solely for the fact that they have more work put into them and I'm always proud of myself for doing them. Don't worry though, that doesn't mean I'll stop posting doodles and stuff lol

Also, some of you may have seen this before. I used this picture [link] done by :iconlithp: as a reference because when I originally was thinking of what to do for my project I knew I wanted to do a graphite drawing with a little bit of watercolor in it. I asked my friend for help on brainstorming ideas and he just rattled of random things like: heart, eye, rose, ect. (haha yea, all red things lol) so after he said eye I looked up and eye on here and found that picture with the broken heart in it and I immediately knew that's what I was going to do. I guess you could call this fanart too maybe lol. But all in all, that picture is amazing. :) Enjoy.

Okay, so obviously my art teacher liked this too, cause it's in a case by itself being displayed at my school! :D I've gotten so many compliments from teachers and friends! YAY!!! lol yea, oh, and it's gonna be in our school newsletter, so EVERYONE's parents and whoever gets the newsletter can see it :D WOOT! i'm finally being recognized! :dance: lol

Wow, this is awesome. I love the detail. The iris is beautiful :heart:

A bit of critique, maybe the eyebrow could be darker? It looks good like this, but something for next time :D

Really good

I love the transitions into the lighter value

and the eye brows are amazing.

and yea, i thought the same, i kept trying to darken it lol but it wouldn't cooperate an that's sorta how it was in the picture (when it was black and white) haha

Ah, okay. How big is it? Cause making it darker over a bigger area is harder :D
